Image bellow shows H&dM proposal for the Caixa Forum in Madrid, Spain.
The old building with sloped roof, probably under strict heritage preservation, was upgraded with very intelligent form and the blind side facade of the building on the right got the green vertical carpet.
It is a good example for not "disappearing architecture", but using the creativity in dealing with existing urban options.
